All economic considerations aside, Berlin is cool.
It is a place where the Communist east met the Democratic west. When the wall came down German people of very different mindsets were suddenly part of one city, a city trying to find it’s identify. It was, and is, a unique city with music, museums, nightlife, and cultural activities for peoples of all callings and demographics. There is no one scene or style in this city. Berlin has it all, from the weirdest painter to the safest posh mother. However, it was this very reputation that is threatening to undo Berlin as it is known.
